A message from the Board of Trustees

Greetings - Welcome - Kia Ora

We believe that the school environment should be a safe happy one where each person is respected and shows respect for others. Students should be given the opportunity of discovering and using their special abilities. They will be encouraged to develop a set of values which will allow them to take a useful place in our society.

Latest News and Events

This year we are going to hold a Readathon from Monday 3rd August to Wednesday 12th August. Funds raised will be used to purchase new library books for our recently refurbished library. This will involve the students reading novels, newspapers, comics, science magazines, etc. for a non-interrupted 20 minute period each day. Students will be sponsored either for the number of 20 minute periods, or donations can be pledged for the completion of the Readathon. Sponsorship cards must be returned to school by Monday 3rd August and all money must be handed in by 3:00pm on Wednesday 19th August in order to enter the competition for prizes.

On the 6th of August, Kedgley Intermediate will hold a Family Reading Evening at 5:30pm. The goal of this program is to provide families with tools and strategies to help their children become better readers.
